8-week sessions cost: $40 employee, $48 WELLAWARE member, $56 public

60 min class: $5/session employee, $6/session WELLAWARE member, $7/session public
Once we have 6 participants enrolled in the whole session, additional participants have the option to pay on a per class basis with exact cash, check, or payroll deduct.
Yoga is a physical, mental, and spiritual discipline that originated in ancient India and has been practiced for more than 5,000 years. It includes instruction in a variety of physical poses that are combined with specific breathing techniques. Yoga has gained popularity recently with close to 11 million Americans currently enjoying it for its many health and fitness benefits. The physical benefits of yoga include increased flexibility, strength, and muscle tone. Other physical benefits include improved respiration, energy, and vitality. It can also provide pain relief, assist in maintaining a balanced metabolism, and promote cardiovascular and circulatory health. The mental benefits include increased relaxation, decreased stress, increased ability to focus, and learning to focus more on positive thinking. The spiritual benefits include improved awareness of your body, feelings, and the world around you. Yoga is appropriate for nearly everybody because it is not dependent upon age or fitness level and there are modifications possible for every yoga pose.
Chair aerobics is one of the most underestimated, yet beneficial workouts ever! Chair aerobics is a low impact alternative for exercisers of all fitness levels. This class has been especially designed for individuals who want a full-body toning and strengthening workout, without the "jumping and gyrating" that has become so popular in most exercise programs offered today. GOLD FEVER CARDIO
In the spirit of the James Bond 007 slogan, the Gold Fever Cardio class will combine Latin, pop and smooth jazz music with classic low impact exercises "sensibly stirred and not shaken" for the participant's aerobic enjoyment!
SPRING SHAPE UP
Spring into shape with this new group exercise class. This aerobic workout incorporates cardio, strength, and flexibility. Movement to music creates a fun environment for getting into better shape. This class can be curtailed to most fitness levels.
Functional Fitness that incorporates balance, coordination, focus, strength, and flexibility…Tai Chi for arthritis and fall prevention is an evidenced based tai chi program that prevents falls and is gentle on arthritic joints. Adults should participate in regular exercise to improve balance and strength. One useful activity is tai chi, which is designed to increase flexibility, improve posture, and strength. The control of movements, (slow, smooth, and continuous) is a key element that makes tai chi effective in improving balance and coordination. The teaching method breaks down movement into individual parts and focuses on weight transference. The class works to bring confidence back into your step.
