Through a partnership with Washington University School of Medicine IRB, clinical staff at BHC are encouraged to explore medical investigation through experimental studies. BHC is known for offering top-of-the-line medical services and our goal is to continue offering the best medical care in mid-Missouri. We feel that clinical research is essential to meeting this goal.
This corner of BHC’s website can be thought of as a “researchers toolkit” – providing investigators with some of the necessary resources needed to conduct high-quality, ethical research. In addition to housing many links to external resources, such as federal agencies that govern research conduct in the U.S. and documents that set the initial framework for research ethics, we also provide you with many internal resources to aid in your research endeavors. These vary from BHC’s policies and procedures regarding research and the IRB, to a step-by-step listing of the administrative approval process, to an emergency patient treatment portal.
We hope this site will be of great use to you as medical research staff. If you have any questions or concerns please contact the IRB administrator, Dalton Quick, at Dalton.Quick@bjc.org or 573-815-6358.
