Zumba is Latin-inspired fitness program that is a great way to burn calories, get healthy and have a great time--all at once! Come check out a Zumba class--meet some new friends and work-out your body in a friendly, low-key environment. It makes exercising to dance styles such as the Merengue, Salsa, Cha Cha, Cumbia, Tango, Hip Hop, and Rock and Roll easy to follow so that everyone, and any age, can have fun doing it! Zumba class is accessible to all fitness and ability levels. It's a total body work-out that feels more like a party! Come join the fun!


Zumba Gold is a fitness program specifically designed to take the exciting Latin and International dance rhythms created in the original Zumba and bring them to the beginner participant, the active older adult, and other special populations that may need modifications for success. Zumba Gold was created to emphasize the basics.  It makes exercising to dances such as the Merengue, Salsa, Cha Cha, Cumbia, Tango, Hip Hop, and Rock and Roll easy to follow so that everyone, and any age, can have fun doing it! Zumba Gold is guaranteed to provide the participant with a safe and effective total body workout.  Your Zumba Gold instructor has experience working with beginning exercisers, active mature adults, and special populations.  While maintaining a party like atmosphere, the Zumba Gold instructor will accommodate you in the choice of music, movement, transitions, and intensity.  So, give Zumba Gold a try!  It's great for the mind, body and soul!


Yoga is a physical, mental, and spiritual discipline that originated in ancient India and has been practiced for more than 5,000 years.  It includes instruction in a variety of physical poses that are combined with specific breathing techniques.  Yoga has gained popularity recently with close to 11 million Americans currently enjoying it for its many health and fitness benefits.  The physical benefits of yoga include increased flexibility, strength, and muscle tone.  Other physical benefits include  improved respiration, energy, and vitality.  It can also provide pain relief, assist in maintaining a balanced metabolism, and promote cardiovascular and circulatory health.  The mental benefits include increased relaxation, decreased stress, increased ability to focus, and learning to focus more on positive thinking.  The spiritual benefits include improved awareness of your body, feelings, and the world around you.  Yoga is appropriate for nearly everybody because it is not dependent upon age or fitness level and there are modifications possible for every yoga pose. 


Pilates is a style of fitness that incorporates a lot of exercises and stretches you already do with breathing for a core workout. Each week, we'll learn new exercises and repeat our favorites as we feel our bodies get stronger and more limber. Pilates is all about creating long, lean muscles through developing the core and improving balance. We will learn modifications for all skill levels and feel progression throughout the semester.
Pilates mats will be provided, please wear comfortable clothes! 


Chi Gong (pronounced “Chee Gong”) is a Chinese form of moving meditation.    It is a precursor to Tai Chi moves.   “Chi” means life energy and breath,” Gong” means work/skill or the benefits from an activity.

Benefits of doing Chi Gong are:  improves well-being and health, helps you to clear your mind and find tranquility, helps you sleep, improves balance both internally and externally, increases your energy level and strength, improves your posture, improves your attitude.  Chi Gong moves are easy to follow and can be practiced by all age groups.
