Occupational Medicine Services
Boone Hospital Center provides a comprehensive occupational medicine program for business and industry. Multiple points of entry into our program are provided to serve all of our customers unique needs. The foundation of our program is a partnership with Occupational Medicine of Mid-Missouri, a full service, acute and chronic care clinic treating only occupational injury and illness. Treatment and care of occupational injuries and illness, physical examinations, drug screening and breath alcohol testing (BAT's), on-site consultative services including immunizations, respirator fit testing and blood-borne pathogen training, medical surveillance for OSHA compliance including spirometry, audiometry, vision, laboratory testing and X-ray services along with proactive case management of injuries are all services that make Boone’s occupational medicine program stand out among the competition.

Ergonomics
Whether your company is large or small, Boone Hospital Center’s outpatient rehabilitation team can do a worksite evaluation. This evaluation will identify needs related to injury prevention or reduction of current cumulative trauma symptoms. Analysis of a single job or workstation to an entire assembly line or process, are all tasks that are readily achieved by our highly qualified & experienced physical & occupational therapists. We strive to provide realistic recommendations for change & assistance in the implementation of those changes to assist you in meeting your goals. With the assistance of your company’s safety & human resource personnel our team can help address employee injuries & their prevention in a cost effective manner.
