Boone Hospital Center’s Employee Assistance Program (EAP) was created in 1986 for our own employees. The program has been so successful, beneficial and cost effective that a decision was made to contract EAP services to our mid-Missouri business partners.
EAP is a short-term counseling and referral resource for company employees and/or their immediate family members who might be experiencing personal or work related problems. It can also function as an effective management tool for company supervisors who may suggest or mandate services based on an employee’s behavior or performance. Our philosophy is to provide professional and confidential direction for any problem before it affects an employee’s health, well-being or job performance. Production of policies and procedures, supervisory training, follow-up and in-services are all components of a comprehensive program that is customized in a variety of different service models to meet your company’s individual needs. As with all WELLAWARE related services, our goal is a healthier and more productive workforce.
