In the spring of 2006, Boone Hospital Center opened a new 80,000 square foot home to the finest medical testing and diagnostic technology, physicians, staff and service that the community has come to expect and trust.

Within the Center for Advanced Medicine you will find a blend between art and medical science, where works from community artists co-exist with the finest medical equipment and personnel in Mid-Missouri.

With the addition come new conveniences, such as the new circle-drive for front door patient pick-up and drop-off. A new admissions process makes it simple for patients to register in the area where they will receive their procedure, decreasing wait times and overall time spent in the hospital.

The new Center reflects a total healing environment, which produces a calming atmosphere through touch, sound and sight—a full realization of the concept that healing is encouraged by surroundings that reduce stress and engage the senses.

Several familiar Boone Hospital services have moved to the Center, such as The Harris Breast Center, cardiac cath lab, outpatient surgery, GI lab, short term stay unit, distribution services and a new mechanical room.
