Volunteers
Welcome to Boone Hospital Volunteer Services! We are so grateful you would like to volunteer with us. Before you complete the volunteer application, we’d like to give you an idea of what the application and volunteer process looks like.
Pre-Volunteering
- Submit online volunteer application
- Check email for background check authorization form which can be printed off and completed at home and returned during your interview
- Interview with Volunteer Services (first visit to Boone Hospital). A member of volunteer services will contact you to set up the interview after receiving your application
- Appointment with Employee Health for vaccination record submittal, vaccinations (if necessary), and drug testing (second visit to Boone Hospital)
- Volunteer Orientation (third visit to Boone Hospital)
Volunteering
- College Students – We ask for a 2-hour volunteer commitment once a week during the school year.
- Other Adults – We ask for a 4-hour volunteer commitment once a week.
